So these don't officially come out until January, however one of my Sally's stores will often sell me things early :) I didn't buy the black base coat as I have plenty of blacks. These are all layered over Wet & Wild Ebony Hates Chris.

I didn't use a top coat on these and they are a nice, flat smooth flakie. One of the pictures looks like they might be rough and 'hungry' flakies, but they are not. These are very nice!

 Ok, now that I got that out of my system, can I just say I had a little polish-gasm when I opened up the bubble wrap (multiple layers I might add) from this polish?! Great packing job in this EPIC swap!I could not decide what to where this over, so I did skittles for my underwear.

Forgive the lack of cleanup, I'm just like a little excited puppy that tinkles all over you when you greet him! When I opened this polish, it was kinda like a scene from Lord of the Rings when perhaps Galadriel would have pulled out some magical, epic and rare elixir that is only crafted once in 1,000 years in some far off elvish country never before seen by man, er, hobbits......sigh.....magical.

Dashica Stamping Plates

I just wanted to share this wonderful opportunity I have to get some unique stamping plates! I found this today at Walgreens in a new display. I didn't notice the name of the collection, I wish I would have. I picked up this one and a red sparkly called Saucy. I'll find out the collection name and update as soon as I can.

Anyway, this one jumped out at me because I saw it was a subtle dupchrome. Got it home, pulled it out and it looked like someone ha stolen the pink! Stupid lighting! Below are the swatches.

First finger is naked, Middle has black underwear, Ring has OPI Ink for underwear and the pinky has South Sea Pearl underneath. These pictures don't capture the true pink beauty. It looks like Revlon Carbonite or Chanel Graphite, when the pink kicks in it is like someone put a sheer coat of Funky Fingers Favorite Girl over top. I really like this over a dark base.

Excuse my messy fingers....i just finished swatching lots of glitters....

Last weekend I went on a polish shopping spree in downtown Chicago. Some polish friends and I made the trek to some supply stores as well as Water Tower place to visit Sephora. On our way up to Sephora, we were sidetracked by Macy's...and oh what a wonderful sidetrack that turned out to be!!! This tiny, little bottle was sitting there beckoning us. There were four of us, and only 3 bottles...at the moment, Raquel didn't want one but then...what did she do? She swatched if over black! We all literally gasped at the beauty! Then of course, she wanted one and there were none (we weren't given up ours!! tee hee!) Thankfully, Macy's ordered it for her and is sending it to her with free shipping!

I have had this beauty sitting in my melmer, gathering dust...what a waste! I pulled it out to use it as a base for Ozotic 531...when I put this one I was in awe. Why have I not heard about this polish? Why are people not scouring eBay and blog sales for it? It is A-M-A-Z-I-N-G!!!!!!

Technical details, this is 2 coats on a naken nail...no 'underwear' as I've heard it called! Although it was recommended to me to put this over black or something dark. Enjoy the pics below, I think you will agree that it is spectacular 'naked' ;)

These were all taken under a compact fluorescent bulb, just at different angles...get...your...bibs!!!!!!

This ... polish.....is....ah-mazing! I love this polish! Keep in mind that the pictures below have no top coat, this is purely the polish. The color shift is GORGEOUS and to top it off, it is an almost perfect dupe of Chanel Peridot at half the price!


As always, I will let the pictures and video speak for this polish....I have three coats on overtop of a clear base. No top coat as I was doing a swatch-a-thon, but when I wore it I used Seche Vite and it was FAB!

I got this bottle at an amazing price through my friend Stephanie who is a distributor for Ozotic polishes here in the states. These come from Australia. I was fortunate enough to get to hang out and polish shop with Stephanie yesterday!! She also brought me yet another Ozotic, #531....keep watching for that one!!!

I recently was part of a Make-Up Store group buy organized by my friend Taylor, I only got two but wanted to share this beauty with you!! This is Greta....and I think Greta is Gosh Holo in disguise! Seriously, they are SO similar. I will post some Gosh comparisons another time, for now this post is entirely dedicated to Miss Greta!

If you have been lemming over Gosh Holo....get yourself a bottle of Greta and you will NOT be dissapointed! But I will warn you, just like Gosh and Nfu-Oh, you DO need an aquabase.

The Stash....

So I finally cataloged my stash and bought some melmers. I started off with just one melmer...and well, immediately went back and bought a second and already need a 3rd. I will post pics of the single melmer drawers before I show you the end result with two ;)

First here are my 3 drawers when I had just one melmer...as you can see, I was maxed out. You can see why I had to go by a second immediately.

a england Percival

 I was sent a england Percival to review from llarowe!! So without further ado...here is Percival!

First let me say WOW. This polish not only applied flawlessly in one single coat, it is BEAUTIFUL. I received both Avalon and Percival to review from llarowe and I though Avalon would be my favorite, but Percival won me over. It has a metallic, almost slightly shimmery finish that I could not capture well in pictures.

I also did a comparison to OPI I'm Not Really a Waitress (INRAW). Scroll to the bottom for that comparison video. While they are VERY close in color and shade, INRAW just doesn't have the same finish that Percival does. After reviewing these two polishes, Lady of the Lake and Tristam just LEAPED to the top of my want list....I want them bad.

If you would like me to do a comparison of Percival to another red, check my stash list and leave me a message if I have it. I'll be more than happy to update the blog with more comparisons. I think INRAW is the closest red I have to Percival but I wouldn't give up either.

a england Avalon

I am finally getting this blog up! I was sent a england Avalon to review from llarowe and after a weekend with no power and the following workweek from hades, I'm finally getting caught up on my blogs! So here it is, a england Avalon.

So I will say first off, I don't think this is a duochrome, yet it CLEARLY changes from Blue to Purple based on the warmth of the lighting you are in! I was not expecting that. You can see the changes not only in my pictures below, but in my video at the end of this blog. I was comparing Avalong to HRH by Butter London, which looked VERY similar to me....until I tried comparing them on camera....it was almost like Avalon decided to throw a monkey wrench into my comparison and turn blue right in front of me! Is this polish blue? Is it purple? It is both! I'll let the pictures and videos speak for themselves.

As for the technical aspect, it went on pretty well and easily. I almost could have gotten by with one coat but had a few drag spots that were too thin. It has a very nice finish (no top coat below) and I really enjoy watching to see what color it will be when I look at it, lol.

I personally look at this on my nails and I instantly want to stamp something on top because it looks like the perfect palette for it! So smooth and perfect!

Kleancolor Chunky Holo collection

Ok, so I saw someone post about Kleancolor Chunky Holo Bluebell....scrounged through ebay and found the entire collection. I think I paid around $22, give or take, for the entire collection, including PRIORITY shipping. This seller was AWESOME and shipped super fast. She was only missing one color at the time, so I messaged her. She responded FAST that she would have it in that next day (maybe I was just lucky with my timing!) so I bought the last color on Saturday...today is Wednesday and it arrived! Halloween Pumpkin polishes!!!

NEW PICTURES OF ROUND GLITTERS AND VIDEOS OF EVERYTHING POSTED!!!

Ok so in my never ending hunt for WnW On The Prowl collection (grumble grumble) I came across this WONDERFUL collection of colors and glitters at Meijers! I had SO much fun swapping them and now I want to go back after the colors I didn't buy....there were TONS! I didn't get any of the mini round glitters, but they had them in all colors! Along with glitters, and glow in the darks in all colors and black lights in many colors! SO MANY FREAKING PUMPKINS!!!!!! Whew, ok I'm alright now....now for the pics.

I snagged a small bottle of Fantasy Makers holo glitter and the REAL black Magic Fantasy Maker polish (the other Black Magic I bought was a cream, not the glitter) On the far right, there had coffin shaped polishes, I just bought the green, I really didn't need the red, black or whatever other colors there were...but I had to have ONE coffin shaped polish! Now for the goodies in the middle! These don't have names. I'll describe them in more detail below, with the exception of the peachy orange guy on the right. He is one of the many shades of glow in the dark glitter that were there. Also, I did not buy all of the different kinds, this is ONLY a SMALL sampling of the available colors....sigh I want more.

All of the swatches below are done over: Wet n Wild Black, Sinful Colors Courtney Orange, WnW Slivivor (silver) and Sinful Colors Under 18 (red). Each pumpkin glitter is only ONE single coat, so you could layer more. First with no flash, second with flash.

First up, the Rainbow Glitter. Reminds me of a very thin version of Mad as a Hatter, that is just a broad color based comparison...don't buy this thinking you will have a MAAH dupe, it is very thin and scattered as you will see below. Great as a top coat to add glitter .

Next up consider this one like a clear bar-glitter version of Pumpkin Spice (they actually had what looked like a dupe of Pumpkin Spice there too) This one has a clear base with Black and Orange bar glitter...I really like this one. They had a few left, so I can go back for more.

Ok this one is my favorite and there were only 2 bottles, one for me and I honestly haven't decided if I'm selling or keeping the 2nd....i love this. It is a light purple jelly base with blue and other color flakies, mostly blue. Love this!!!!

This one I have a love hate relationship with. I LOVE LOVE the idea of it, but the application can be tricky. This is another clear base with small round glitters, but scattered in there are silver crescent moons!!!! The downside??? Getting those crescent moons to stick to your brush then to your finger! It takes some persistence and time, but I think it is well worth it. There were only three bottles of this. I bought all three because I really figured this one would be hot, so I have 2 to sell.

Ok, there were more of these at the store, I only bought 1 extra to sell because they had a handful left...i don't think there is a big risk of them being sold out before I can get back there if anyone wants more. This is a silver/holo bar glitter in clear base. Don't know how to describe it better than that. I like it and it reminds me of the 2008 Fantasy Maker.

Ok, it looks like I DID take a close up of this guy afterall!! They had several different colors of these glow in the dark glitters. I'll test the glowing ability later ;) But I already had a yellow and since this one looked orange, well pumpkins are orange :)
